About Luxembourg: My Sunday Restaurant Pick
My Sunday Restaurant Pick: It’s tricky but if I’m asked to pick just 1 restaurant, it will most probably be Come à La Maison for their Sunday brunch!
Your go-to cocktail on the menu? I’d have to say either an aperol spritz or a classic gin based cocktail.
What’s your must-try dish? I try hard not to get carried away by the “massive” buffet and focus on what I enjoy the most. You’ll find me refilling my plate at the cheese station, the seafood corner (I love crab and lobster!) and the salad Bar.
Easy to get to? Easy access by car and bus. Also conveniently located in walking distance from Parc Merl which we often visit for a relaxing post-brunch walk…if the weather allows it!
What’s the atmosphere like? Wow, the restaurant is just rich in decoration. It is laid out in several rooms each with a unique decoration concept. On Sundays the food stations are spread across the restaurant so there is constant movement and a lively, often loud, buzz. Live music adds a very pleasant note and it is highly possible that you’ll spot my little one dancing nearby.
How is the service? Polite and most of the time quick. Worth mentioning that the buffet is promptly replenished.
What makes it a perfect spot for a Sunday? Sunday is a family & friends day as much as it is a slow day. At Come à La Maison, we get to enjoy both! Great variety for all-you-can-eat quality food that the whole family can enjoy at their own pace without having to rush! The store delicatessen is also open in case you want to do a little shopping. We usually take the time to stock up on our favourite pasts and mostarda di fichi!
