Pick 1- Vianden Castle

This beautiful castle has to be your first stop. It is a quick 15 minute walk from the Vianden train station so it is a great way to start your day! The castle is open Monday-Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

Pick 2- Musée de la ville de Vianden

The museum of the village of Vianden, is a new museum that goes through 4 different key themes of the village of Vianden. It is open from 11am-5pm, right next to the Vianden Castle and costs no more than 4 Euros.

Pick 3- Chairlift Ride

Fun fact: the only chairlift in Luxembourg is located in Vianden! This ride, costing up to 5.80 Euros, offers beautiful scenic views. It is open from 10am-5pm and can be ridden both up and down!

Pick 4- Walk along Ourdal Promenade

This easy walk along the water can take up to 2 hours but of course you can stop whenever you feel. Enjoy the nature and learn from the information signs along the way, this is the perfect way to build up an appetite for dinner!

Pick 5- Walk along Main Street

To wrap up your visit, continue walking along the Main Street, Grand Rue, of Vianden, pop into some shops or find a place for takeout!

Pick 6- Eat at Hotel Petry

Finish your evening with dinner at Hotel Petry. Their wood fired pizza is delicious, but if you're not in the mood for pizza there is plenty of other options to choose from.
