The Best Places for Pizza in Luxembourg: Part 1

Cloud Factory

Recently awarded the title of the 36th best pizzeria in Europe, Cloud Factory definitely tops our list. With pizza crust this fluffy, and ingredients so fresh after a glass of Prosecco you might forget you’re still in Luxembourg. They have two locations, one in the city (takeaway only, with some tables outside in sunny weather) and one in Esch with dine-in service. If you haven’t tried Cloud Factory yet, it should definitely top your list of must-try pizzerias.


La Torre

Located in the Limpertsberg district opposite the Tower, La Torre is known for offering a range of authentic Italian dishes, including pizzas, pasta, risottos, and various meat and seafood options. They are equipped with a Neapolitan wood-fired oven, and even have a terrace for outdoor dining in the summer!

Onesto

Classified as a UNESCO historical monument and decorated with traditional frescoes, Onesto offers over 20 kinds of wood-fired pizzas, homemade pasta, meat, and fish, as well as traditional Italian desserts. They place a heavy value on family, tradition, and generosity, and this is easily reflected in their friendly staff and wonderful service.

Come à la Pizza

The pizza at Come à la Pizza is prepared by Italian chefs according to traditional and authentic recipes. They use one of the best Italian flours from a small family business that cultivates yeast called “La Pasta Madre”. The flour is further refined in small mills to offer you a selection of 3 types: wheat flour, integral flour and gluten-free flour. Continually, the dough of from their pizzas is raised in a natural way, reworked and hydrated every 24 hours, for 3 days, for a tasty and crispy texture.

Partigiano

It’s hard to pick just one when you see the 23 different pizzas that this restaurant has to offer! They serve the classic pizzas as well as several original pizzas that you can’t get anywhere else! The extensive cocktail list also perfectly complements the cozy atmosphere with very cool decorations. Even if you don’t like pizza, you are sure to find something on the menu that you will enjoy!

Bella Napoli

The Bella Napoli was one of the first pizzerias in Luxembourg, and today it is the oldest in the city. This pizzeria also embodies the power of “Tradition” in multiple aspects. It upholds the cherished tradition of the Balestri family, who continue to run the establishment, and also honors culinary traditions through its delectable pasta, mouthwatering desserts, and exclusively handmade ice cream.

Nonna Nenetta

Though not located directly in the city, we definitely believe this place is worth a try! Nonna Nenetta can be found in Belval and boasts a large menu of the traditional flavors of Puglia, Italy. All of the ingredients are fresh and are made into a whopping 27 different kinds of pizza! They also have a wide variety of pasta and other options for those who aren’t seeking to enjoy the fun pizzas.

Girotondo

This cute and stylish pizzeria allows you to enjoy a variety of pasta, pizzas, antipasti and Sal De Riso pastries. These world-famous pastries come from the small town of Minori, on the Amalfi coast. Their pizzas are also exclusively made by a southern Italian pizza maker, and boast some original and flavorful creations! They also have vegetarian options, as well as gluten and lactose free pizza!

V’diterraneo

Though hidden away from the main streets, this spot is truly a gem! The high quality food and the great service makes this place a must visit for your Friday night pizza. On the menu, you’ll find an extensive list of dishes ranging from fresh bruschetta to family favorites like lasagna, as well as a few native Italian dishes that are well worth a try.
